In my First Life, I can't afford trendy fashion.
In my Second Life, I'll just learn to *make* trendy fashion.

THANK YOU!

Donovan, Vasean, Deekay, SinnM, and everybody else who helped me :3
It was a journey of epic proportions. And like journeys of it's kind, it began with a single IM.
"So, you said you didn't have any place to sell your grown-up clothes," Said Hot Donny unto me.
"No," says I, "Not yet. I was hoping to save up for a place."
Shortly thereafter, I'm told the mythically awe-inspiring tale of GearShift's humble beginnings, and Donovan insists we must follow the same path for .:fRUit:.
Never being one to turn down adventure, I agree, and off we go in a storm of TPs, traversing the entire grid and many a terrifyingly laggy mall in search of an Oasis of Cheap Primmage (TM). It was only after seeking the wisdom of SL-Shopping Sage Vasean that our journey at last found it's destination. There, upon the beach, stood the answer to our quest. Deeks, Queen of the Piercing Lance, ushered us to a little stall overlooking the water.
"This," she said, "Is what you seek." And indeed it was. And thusly was .:fRUit:. established in its first location. And it was good.
That location, BTW, is
"Unlimited: 188,105,21."Expect many updates between now and Jan 17th.

Officially released!
I made my little forum post about it in new releases and um...yeah.

Both are hand painted, but light on the body shading. Sweet comes in 6 flavours (Banana, Strawberry, Kiwi, Orange, Raspberry, and Blueberry.) Pockets comes as Brown/Teal *pictured* and Black/Pink.
I
can make & sell some with a bit more body shading (boobie area) if you know of anyone who'd be interested in those, but I currently don't have anywhere to sell them XD !! So for "adult" versions of these tops I guess, I'll have to sell them via IM for now.
I'm working on some more stuff today, too.

OMG sleepy.
Okay, so I'm really really really really really really sleepy right now.
But the news is that I have a very small spot in a kid mall, "Don't Wanna Grow Up." There's an LM in my picks...um. Yeah.
It doesn't have EVERYTHING out yet but it's got I think 5 shirts and 2 beds or something. If you know of any people with a little girl in SL point them thatta way?

Stalking Noam: Part 2.

It's perfectly normal for trees to grow in smoggy, dirty, inner-urban areas with graffiti all over them.
Seriously!

Slum Chic: A li'l dirt never hurt.
It's a pretty gross understatement to say that these days, filthy is sexy in
SecondLife. The grungier you can make it, the better, and the more it looks like you just crawled your way through muddy barbed-wire, the more compliments you're bound to get.
That's why, as I was attempting to stalk a Noam this evening (elusive being that he is, this is much harder than it sounds) I wound up at The Block. The Block is
the place for urban grunge fashion, at least, insofar as I've discovered. And after a hesitant inquiry of
Zabitan Assia (owner of FORM and co-owner of the Block) about which of his garments he thought would look sexiest on a girl AV, I came away with a mini-makeover to share.

This Before photo is my general kind of wear. A
floofy skirt, a pretty top, and sweet hair. (Dazzle *Rendezvous*, .:
fRUit:., Kin
Keiko *Abby*)
After
Zabitan got
FORM's dirty paws on me...

I blended in so well,
Jonny Dusk mistook me for a slum-maiden and whisked me away to his Grunge Castle (squatter hang-to).
Here you can see me decked out in closeup, looking totally at home in the slummiest of grunge-
shui environs. The
ShredR low-rise jeans, built for boys like all of FORM, are mouth-
wateringly unisex. And, even pale as I am, the never-seen-Clorox grey of the Suspect tank stands out just fine, giving me some subtle
hardass definition, too. (FORM*
ShredR low*, FORM *Suspect tank*, Kin
Keiko *
Emi*)
So stark what just those three pieces can do. Sure, everyone knows that Kin and
Zabitan are great designers already, that's nothing new. But the best part? Total cost of the main makeover (accessories not included: chokers, bracelets,
bodyparts, tattoos) was $300L. Jeans - $75L. Tank - $125L. Hair - $100L.

Stalking Noam: Part 1.

Here is a harmless tree. And a snowneko. Made by Noam.
...A Snoam.
(Well, I had to practice on something, right?)
Depending on how this stalking works out, I may chronicle it here on my blog XD

My first gig.
Okay, so when I got the news, I was more than ecstatic.
Over on
Jackal Ennui's blog, the talented shoes&jewelry genius posted about needed just a few models for an event at the offical opening of the Nouveau sim. After reading over the info, I was so stoked. I wear nothing but Tete a Pied skins, and I love my Miriel eyes. And the prospect of free Lassitude & Ennui accessories? Couldn't pass that up! So I applied and to my total surprise, I was picked.
So, on Dec. 17th from 1-3PM SLT, I'll be looking classy at Nouveau (sans tats/piercings/twitchy ears/pink hair, but that's like what RL models have to do too), apparently showcasing some of the gorgeous work from these designers I really admire.
Talk about farkin' awesome. XD

Attention all males!
Calling all 男の猫、nekoboys, guys, dolls, guys-who-wanna-look-like-sexy-dolls---
Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot over at Tete a Pied (see my links) have created something stunning and gorgeous for you!
Smooth, dashing, and oh-so-dangerously-yet-sensitively-sexy! Smokey-eyed mens' makeups that break the boundary of "eye-liner" and go right into "I-must-have-you."
Even Capt. Jack Sparrow doesn't make it look
this good!

They're called "Malaise," available as a 4 pack or as singles in all 9 skin tones, 2 different facial hair options and 2 different makeup looks. Where to find them? A sim called Nouveau. Want sexy eyes to go with this new skin? Head to Miriel's in the same neighborhood, where you can find the most gorgeous hand-painted eyes with a smaller-than-regular iris, great for guys who aren't keen on that "Bambi" look.
I may have to join the ranks of Willow and others and make myself a sexy male alter-ego
just to wear these hot skins.Labels: guys, new, sexy, skins, tete a pied
Block Party~
I went to a social event in SL today. (Ru, social? Bah!) As a result, I got to stare adoringly at some of my favorite SL designers (Zabitan, Helyanwe *she's so...tall
swoon*, Keishii, Dragontat, Antonia, etcetc). The highlights however, were DJ and Gear-shifter Don Brennan's sexy voice and Noam's new tasty mouse.

He's scripted for extra morbidness XD
Oh, and it also became known to like the whole world that I have my own Gritty Kitty/Noam Sprocket fanclub. I'm so shortbus.
As an aside, and something that will no doubt hinder any real productivity of ".:fRUit:."...I know nothing of Photoshop! Noooothingggggggggggggg.
